BBC Studios | Cafe Branding & Wall Mural

The cafe area in the BBC Studios HQ was designed as a central hub for the staff community. With a singular curved wall as its centrepiece, the space is open, lively and a hive of activity. The brief was to create a wall mural that captured the staff’s passion for television. They were asked to answer a questionnaire about their favourite TV memories, both past and present. The responses were printed onto fabric swatches and made into a wallpaper. The final design consists of around 1,000 swatches and was hand-stitched together to form a 12m acoustic wall.
